    Poor quality

    I've always loved the look of these shoes, and given my positive experience with Salomon hiking shoes in the past, I was thrilled to buy a pair from Hype DC in June this year. Unfortunately, it didn't take long after purchase for me to run into issues. After about a month of wear (for running basic errands or going to my office job, nothing strenuous), I noticed glue stains bleeding up the fabric from the soles and other areas where fabric met rubber. This alone was disappointing, but I knew that with regular maintenance I could at least keep them looking squeaky clean, and so I begrudgingly accepted this for what it was. I was cleaning weekly, and even then the stains would recur after every second wear. Not long after this, I noticed holes and thinning fabric along where the fabric natural creases with walking. While I understand that this falls under wear and tear and is a natural consequence of friction, I'm baffled and appalled that a pair of $300 shoes is full of holes after a mere handful of months of light wear and impeccable care. This shoe has left me highly disappointed, and considering how much I've loved my Salomon hiking shoes in the past, I'm feeling disillusioned. Given all this and the review written by Jordan that corroborates my own experience, I certainly couldn't recommend this shoe to anyone who wishes to wear it for longer than a month.

    AWFUL QUALITY!

    These are the worst sneakers I've ever owned. I absolutely loved my Salomon hiking boots, so I was shocked to see how poor the quality of the XT6 was. I purchased these in May from Hype DC and I had to buy replacement sneakers in September (only used for light walking, not trail running) and I took impeccable care of them. The easy laces took about 4 times longer to get on and off than regular laces, and they're so thin you can't buy your own replacement laces if you want the option of switching to regular tied ones. They scuffed the literal first time I wore them while I was still inside my carpeted apartment. The backs have completely ripped through in under four months, even though I only wear them walking around while I run errands. To top it off, I was told by Hype DC employees that they don't offer refunds for Salomon shoes when I tried to get a refund per Salomon's warranty policy. I was also informed by the Hype DC employees that Salomon has changed factories recently, and the days of Salomon producing high quality shoes are sadly gone. Save your money!!!!

    3. Wearing these socks, stand on the sheet of paper with your foot perpendicular to the wall and your heel against the wall.
    4. Then use a pen to draw a line just in front of your big toe. Repeat for both feet and take the longer distance to determine your size.
    5. Using a ruler, measure the distance between the wall and the line you drew to find your size.
