In connection with your purchases in the Online Shop, we communicate electronically (e.g., by email or through messages posted to your account). You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications provided electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE (“SALES TERMS”)

Final Sale: Available online and at Salomon stores while stocks last. Not valid with any other offer or discount. Final sale — no returns or exchanges, except as required by law.

These Sales Terms apply to purchases made via the Salomon Online Shop at salomon.com.au (the “Online Shop”) and to orders and transactions for products available in the Online Shop (“Products”).

Please note that these Sales Terms give you specific rights, and you may have other rights which vary by jurisdiction.

GIFT WITH PURCHASE

One free gift is eligible per order containing full-priced footwear from the Hiking, Trail, or Run categories, while stocks last. If a purchased item is returned, the free gift must also be returned unused and in original packaging to remain eligible for a refund.

ABOUT THESE SALES TERMS

These Sales Terms only apply to purchases made in this Online Shop. Other Salomon websites may have different terms. From time to time we may change these Sales Terms; changes apply to orders placed on or after the effective date stated.

Information contained in advertising, brochures or other materials, or provided on other websites, is for information only and is not an offer by Salomon to supply any Products.

BY PLACING AN ORDER FOR PRODUCTS YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE SALES TERMS.

PLACING AN ORDER

To buy Products, you must:

  • Provide your name, address, phone number, email address, payment details and other required information.
  • Be at least 16 years of age.
  • Provide a delivery address in Australia (we can deliver to certain addresses including P.O. Boxes and Military APO/FPO addresses where a physical address is included).
  • Be the owner or authorised holder of a valid payment method.

You may place an order by adding items to your cart and completing checkout.

When you create a Salomon account, you will set a username and password. You are responsible for all purchases made using your credentials; keep them secure.

ORDER PROCESSING AND CONTRACT FORMATION

Your order is an offer to buy the Products listed in your order under these Sales Terms. All orders must be accepted by Salomon; we may refuse abnormal orders or orders we suspect are not placed in good faith.

After we receive your order, we will email an order confirmation with your order number and item details. Acceptance and formation of the contract occurs when you receive the Salomon order confirmation email.

Order cancellations are not guaranteed. If your order has already dispatched, you will need to return the Product(s) at your cost in accordance with our returns process.

PRICES, SHIPPING & TAXES

The price charged for a Product is the price in effect when the order is placed and is shown on your receipt and confirmation emails. Prices may change without notice and apply only to orders placed after the change.

Salomon collects sales tax where required by law; applicable charges are included in the total price shown at checkout and in your order confirmation. Shipping and handling are additional and itemised at checkout and in your order confirmation.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY & DELIVERY; EVENTS BEYOND CONTROL

Product availability is not guaranteed. We may change, discontinue or stop making any Product without liability or prior notice.

We will provide an expected delivery timeframe and will not exceed 30 days unless you agree to a later date.

If delivery is unreasonably deferred or refused after an attempted delivery, or if an incorrect address causes an unsuccessful delivery, the package may be returned to us. If items are returned to us undelivered, we may treat this as your exercise of the right to cancel and refund in accordance with our returns policy, less any reasonable additional costs incurred.

Delivery options are shown at checkout and may change. Express delivery timeframes are not guaranteed; if an express service is not met, reimbursement of the express surcharge will be provided.

Salomon is not responsible for delay or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including acts of war or terror, strikes, states of emergency, transport failures, utility outages, earthquakes, or other natural disasters).

COMPATIBILITY & PRODUCT INFORMATION

Please ensure Products are compatible for their intended use. Use Online Shop information as your reference for compatibility. If there is a discrepancy with other sources, the Online Shop listing at the time of purchase takes precedence. Please inspect your delivery within fourteen (14) days of receipt to confirm condition and completeness.

PAYMENT

Payment can be made by accepted credit/debit cards, PayPal, or Zip Pay (as listed at checkout). Your card may be declined if the cardholder name or billing address does not match bank records. Your payment is charged on shipment. Keep your order confirmation as proof of purchase.

TITLE TO PRODUCTS

Title to Products remains with Salomon until full payment is received.

RETURN & REFUND

If you purchased Products for private use as a consumer and wish to cancel and return, return the Product within 30 calendar days of the original purchase date and follow the instructions in the Returns & Refunds section of our Customer Support Centre.

Once we receive and validate your return, we will confirm by email and process your refund. If Products received are incorrect, incomplete or damaged in transit, please contact Customer Service promptly.

EXCLUDED ITEMS

Outlet: Any discounted Products from the Outlet collection are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

Change-of-mind examples include: sizing, colour, or style preference.

HOW TO RETURN ITEMS

  • Return items in the original packaging with tags attached.
  • All gifts with purchase must be returned with the purchased item.
  • Include all accessories, manuals and any free gifts from the same package.
  • For bundles, all items in the bundle must be returned.
  • Treat items with care and return them in delivered condition.
  • Use the original delivery carton if possible, include the completed return form inside, and place the provided return label on the outside.
  • Replacements or refunds are processed after all items are received and inspected.

If you return items (1) not entitled to return, (2) not in original condition, (3) missing packaging, (4) missing items, (5) not following return instructions, or (6) otherwise failing to take reasonable care, we may reject the return or deduct reasonable repair or similar direct costs from any refund, as permitted by law.

If your return is accepted, we will refund the price actually paid (less any non-refunded shipping costs as described above) to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of receiving the return.

Salomon only processes returns and refunds for items purchased from this Online Shop.

WARRANTY

Salomon Products are guaranteed against manufacturing or material defects for the applicable warranty period set out in our Customer Support Centre.

PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data is handled in accordance with the Salomon Privacy Policy and any additional provisions in these Sales Terms. Purchasing goods in the Online Shop requires acceptance of the Privacy Policy.

OUR LIABILITY

These Sales Terms set out the full extent of our obligations and liabilities with respect to the Products. To the extent permitted by law, no other warranties, conditions or terms are binding on us beyond those stated in these Sales Terms. In particular, we are not responsible for ensuring Products are suitable for your purposes.

We are not liable (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) for economic losses (including loss of income, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings), loss of data, loss of goodwill or reputation, or any special, indirect, consequential or punitive loss or damage. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages; in such jurisdictions, the above limitation may not apply to you.

GENERAL

If any provision of these Sales Terms is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
