    Dissapointing experience

    I ordered these boots because I needed good ankle support for my job as a removalist, as I have to carry heavy furniture over a ramp. I really liked the design, so I paid a premium for what I considered to be some top-tier gear. I found them very comfortable, but the "All Terrain Contagrip" sole is completely useless for my job. As soon as it starts to drizzle, I have no grip whatsoever and I end up slipping on the ramp like it's covered in oil. It was so bad that when I tried pushing a trolley with just a few boxes, I was stuck, slipping in the same place, I almost fell in multiple occasions. It was so frustrating and embarrassing, to the point where I had to ask my coworkers for help because I couldn't safely do my job anymore. I honestly can’t believe how terrible the grip is, especially since it's supposed to be a key feature. I switched back to my old running shoes and had no issues. Meanwhile my coworker wears $40 Kmart boots that put these to shame. If you’re considering these boots, don't bother. I even have a video if Salomon is interested.

    Great. Very comfortable and good for a jog and a hike. loop at the back could be a little bigger for fingers. 4/5 great boot

    Good but not great.

    Boots are comfy straight away. Good fit. Lace lock works well. Mid height is perfect height. Sole is soft. After 5 days of hiking I can feel an indent under the ball of the foot. The grip has small nobs which wear away quickly. A stiffer sole would suit this boot better

    2. Make sure you are wearing the same socks that you would normally wear with this type of shoe
    3. Wearing these socks, stand on the sheet of paper with your foot perpendicular to the wall and your heel against the wall.
    4. Then use a pen to draw a line just in front of your big toe. Repeat for both feet and take the longer distance to determine your size.
    5. Using a ruler, measure the distance between the wall and the line you drew to find your size.
