    Tough!

    The boots are solid, plenty of room in the toe box, good ankle support, and they were immediately comfortable: I didn't need to break them in. They're quite stiff, and you lose a bit of ground feel in them, but given they're designed for long difficult multi-day hikes with a pack, this is understandable. The waterproofing is top notch: I've been able to tread through marshy, flooded tracks & paddocks (it's been raining for weeks here!) without getting wet socks!

    Perfect Hiking Boot

    I absolutely loved these boots. Been wearing them a lot. Went to the snowfields and wore my Solomon Hiking Boots instead of snow boots as I don't have any. My feet were perfectly dry and warm. These boots haven't hurt or gave me 1 second of uncomfortableness. It is an absolute pleasure wearing them. Just Love!

    Best hiker

    This is my second pair, the first of them lasting for many hikes over more than 5 years. No breaking in needed, most comfortable hiker (or shoe) that I own. Ps still using the old pair for gardening, not completely dead yet

    Salomon XUltra Pioneer Mid Gtx Womens

    Didn’t find them wide enough and very uncomfortable as they had a lump in the inside top of the boot which irritated my little toe causing a blister. That was from just wearing them around the house so I would not recommend. Shame because I loved my old Salomon boots

    2. Make sure you are wearing the same socks that you would normally wear with this type of shoe
    3. Wearing these socks, stand on the sheet of paper with your foot perpendicular to the wall and your heel against the wall.
    4. Then use a pen to draw a line just in front of your big toe. Repeat for both feet and take the longer distance to determine your size.
    5. Using a ruler, measure the distance between the wall and the line you drew to find your size.
