    XA Discoveries as substitute for XA Pro 3D

    Very good - the XA Pro 3Ds (non GTX) I’ve been using for years have been getting hard to find. The last pair which were probably the best being the rare “wides” so was sceptical that these new more economical Discoveries were going to work as a replacement but to my delight they do. Updated design, comfortable and cheaper - well done Salomon.

    Solid performer

    Up to standard - only issue is that the tongue on the right shoe moves to the right. This is a bit annoying

    2. Make sure you are wearing the same socks that you would normally wear with this type of shoe
    3. Wearing these socks, stand on the sheet of paper with your foot perpendicular to the wall and your heel against the wall.
    4. Then use a pen to draw a line just in front of your big toe. Repeat for both feet and take the longer distance to determine your size.
    5. Using a ruler, measure the distance between the wall and the line you drew to find your size.
