Thanks to Descent Control technology, this shoe efficiently tackles technical hikes and really shines during tough descents. Wear this pair and head downhill with a spring in your step, even in wet conditions.

Foothold

A refined, women's specific last works with the reinforced top arm of the sensifit, holding your foot comfortably in place, especially moving downhill.

Stability and cushioning

An asymmetrical chassis designed to accommodate a woman’s anatomy maximizes stability and cushioning, while minimizing fatigue on rugged terrain.

Grip

Two different types of rubber result in better grip. A patterned area on the heel grabs terrain more aggressively, giving you more control especially on descents.

    About my 6 pair of salomon hiking shoes

    Wide fitting comfortable shoe. Good stability and hardwearing. Prefer the slide lace though.

    Tight fitting, lightweight

    they are more suited to narrow feet. They squeak (from fabric movement I think) when being used - hopefully that reduces the more they are used- weird in a quiet forest setting On sale so good price.

    3. Wearing these socks, stand on the sheet of paper with your foot perpendicular to the wall and your heel against the wall.
    4. Then use a pen to draw a line just in front of your big toe. Repeat for both feet and take the longer distance to determine your size.
    5. Using a ruler, measure the distance between the wall and the line you drew to find your size.
